Faithful Gather to Conclude Marian Month with Solemn Rosary at Holy Cross Church Grotto 

Hospet, May 31, 2026: The faithful of Holy Cross Church, Hospet, came together in large numbers on May 31 to conclude the month-long Marian devotion with the solemn recitation of the Holy Rosary at the Grotto of Mother Mary within the church premises.

The prayer service began with an inspiring reflection by Fr. Gregory D'Souza, Parish Priest of Holy Cross Church, who highlighted the significance of the Holy Rosary as a powerful prayer that draws believers closer to Christ through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

In his introductory message, Fr. Gregory spoke about the unique role of Mother Mary in the life of the Church, within families and in the personal spiritual journey of every Christian. He encouraged the faithful to cultivate a daily devotion to the Rosary, describing it as a source of peace, strength and hope amidst the challenges of modern life. He also urged families to pray the Rosary together, fostering unity, faith and love within their homes.
