ICYM Hospet Unit celebrates Teachers’ Day

Hospet: September 07, 2025: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Hospet Unit, joyfully celebrated Teachers’ Day on 7th September 2025 to express gratitude and honour towards all the teachers of the parish.

The celebration was graced by Rev. Fr. Gregory D’Souza, Parish Priest, who, along with Mr. Manohar Cutinha, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council, Mr. Vincent Santhmayora, Secretary of the Parish Pastoral Council, and Mr. Rolston Fleming D’Souza, President of the ICYM, felicitated the teachers. Each teacher was honoured for their tireless service, dedication, and invaluable role in nurturing young minds with knowledge and wisdom.

On this meaningful occasion, the ICYM unit also took the privilege of felicitating Rev. Fr. Gregory D’Souza, Parish Priest of Holy Cross Church, Hospet, and Br. Rajath Lobo, acknowledging their noble service as teachers of the Gospel and their exemplary guidance in imparting Christian values to the faithful.

The celebration truly highlighted the spirit of respect and gratitude towards teachers, who remain the guiding lights of the community.
